Wedding Photography that feels honest, heartfelt and truly yours.
Capturing real moments with warmth and intention - so you can remember your day exactly as it felt.
I’m Kirrilly,
Newcastle Wedding Photographer
Your wedding day isn’t about perfect poses or putting on a show.
It’s about connection, emotion, and the moments that unfold naturally when you’re fully present.
I am a Newcastle Wedding Photographer specialising in relaxed, emotion-led wedding photography across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. My photography is for couples who value meaning over performance — who want their day documented honestly, with care, calm guidance and a genuine understanding of what matters most.
You won’t be asked to perform or pose unnaturally. Instead, I’ll guide you gently when needed, step back when it matters most, and make sure you feel comfortable from start to finish.
I create wedding photographs that feel like you.

A curated collection of weddings filled with honest moments and timeless detail.
Wedding Photography Across Newcastle & The Hunter Region
From beachside ceremonies in Newcastle to vineyard weddings in the Hunter Valley and coastal celebrations in Port Stephens, I photograph weddings throughout the region. Being local means knowing the light, the locations, and how to move through a wedding day calmly and intuitively — whatever the setting.
I document weddings as they naturally unfold, with a calm presence and thoughtful attention to detail. I aim to capture what your day felt like — not just what it looked like.
These are images that feel genuine — just like the moments themselves.

I try to keep my sessions as natural and relaxed as possible, capturing the action as it happens. I keep posing to a minimum and make the sessions fun, which enables me to photograph authentic images and real moments. Nothing fake, just you and your favourite people!

I’ll get in touch a few days before your session after checking out the weather forecast. If it looks like rain, we can either reschedule to another date, change the session to indoors, or go ahead in the rain (if it’s only light). Cloudy and rainy days make for some beautiful photos, so don’t be disappointed if the skies open up.
For weddings, usually venues will have a wet weather backup option available, so make sure to keep in touch with your venue coordinator in case you need to change your location. I always come prepared for rainy skies however, with a supply of clear umbrellas ready to go.

The term ‘posed photos’ has always bad rep, and people tend to cringe when they’re mentioned. And whilst you may think that those beautiful photos look incredibly natural, there is always an element of posing involved. However, my approach is a little bit different as I always like to direct, not pose. I always start my sessions with some form of direction or activity, whether that be to go for a walk or to give your child a cuddle. This gives you something to do, without you feeling unnatural and staged. Before you know it, you’ve forgotten all about ‘posing’, and you’re able to just relax and be creative in the environment.

Normally your photos will be fully edited and ready for viewing 3 - 4 weeks after your session. These will be provided to you in a private online gallery where you can download copies directly. Prints and artwork can also be ordered directly from the gallery. Wedding galleries can take a bit longer however, and our turn-around-time is roughly 6-8 weeks.
