Kirkton Park Hunter Valley Wedding Shoot

Bride wearing pink cinderella gown, holding grooms' hand and walking through Kirkton Park, Hunter Valley NSW

Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is a charming 70-acre Manor estate positioned on the doorstep of the wine country's best vineyards, surrounded by manicured gardens and stunning views of the valley and mountain ranges. With its elegant and historic architecture, Kirkton Park offers a unique blend of sophistication and natural beauty; what a perfect venue for a Hunter Valley wedding!

Julia from Vintage Peacock Hire & Events knows how to put together a jaw-dropping styled bridal shoot, and their latest one at Kirkton Park was no exception. With a dream team of talented Hunter Valley wedding vendors, the result was nothing short of breathtaking.

The day started in the grand manor, where our stunning model Ashley and the hair and makeup team worked their magic. MUA Ebby, also known as Ebony, created a flawless, dewy, glamorous makeup look that perfectly complemented the overall vibe. On the other hand, Emma from Emma Greenwood HMUA crafted a voluminous and dramatic ponytail style that added a touch of elegance.

But it didn't stop there. The real showstopper was the blush pink gown from Elizabeth Rose Couture. With its Cinderella vibes, it was the perfect match for the venue and the overall styling of the day. It truly made our hearts skip a beat.

And let's not forget about the gorgeous floral arrangements. Meg from Will & Wild Co. designed a romantic bridal bouquet that was simply enchanting. Bright pops of red-coloured roses danced amongst delicate white daisies and fragrant eucalyptus leaves. It was a true work of art.

One of the standout benefits of staying at Kirkton Park is the seamless integration of luxury and comfort. The accommodation options are stylish and spacious, and even the common areas are welcoming and styled with elegance. The wedding reception space was no different, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for a romantic and unforgettable wedding in the Hunter Valley.

Julia created and arranged the charming tablescape, meticulously set in the opulent ballroom. The tables were adorned with exquisite linen runners, elegant gold cutlery, inviting tealights, and luscious pears to add a touch of decadence. Meg complemented the arrangement by incorporating floral arrangements reminiscent of the bridal bouquet. Additionally, Emily from Revelle Studio contributed beautifully minimalistic menus and place cards, flawlessly completing the tablescape. The end result was a breathtakingly romantic ambience that seamlessly harmonized with the luxurious backdrop of the sophisticated wedding venue.

Ashley collaborated with our model Jag, to portray a ceremony and reception in the venue. Jag looked incredibly sophisticated in a custom-made black suit and bow tie provided by Rundle Tailoring. We indulged in a couple of glasses of sparkling wine, expertly poured by the talented Alex from Wild Rose Events. Alex brought Rosie the Bar Cart to the reception area, making it the ideal addition for a drink after the ceremony. With its textured design, the stunning two-tiered cake was created by Mel from Melrose Cakes and beautifully adorned with flowers by Meg.

After completing our reception shoot, we strolled around the charming property, making the most of its numerous photo opportunities. Among them, I particularly adored the two urns overflowing with vibrant red flowers that perfectly complemented the colours of the bridal bouquet. The sky grew gloomy and menacing, hinting at an impending downpour, but this only enhanced the breathtaking shots against the dramatic skyline. As the raindrops started to fall, we concluded our photo session on the spacious outdoor deck, which provided a stunning view of the expansive and picturesque property.

I found it incredibly difficult to choose my favourite images from our shoot, with every image showcasing luxury and elegance in every space. The stunning venue offers countless opportunities for beautiful pictures, with a breathtaking backdrop and romantic surroundings. Whether couples envision an intimate gathering or a grand affair, Kirkton Park Hunter Valley will surely exceed any expectations and create memories that will last a lifetime.
